We want every client to have a clear understanding of what to expect when purchasing services from Direct Estimating, LLC. Below is our policy for each service type.
The estimator directory is currently free for contractors to browse and use.
Contractors can browse our vetted estimator directory and access estimator contact information at no charge. Because there is no cost associated with directory access, no refund applies.
Paid estimator placement options are not yet available. This section will be updated when premium listing options launch.
In the future, estimators listed in our directory will have the option to purchase featured or priority placement to increase their visibility to contractors. Refund and cancellation terms for these paid placements will be published here when the service becomes available.
48-hour review window. Revisions first, refund if unresolvable.
If you believe there is a material issue with a delivered estimate, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you to correct any errors or address quality concerns at no additional cost. If we are unable to resolve the issue to your reasonable satisfaction, we will issue a full or partial refund at our discretion based on the circumstances.
Refunds are not available for:
No upfront cost. Fee earned only on recovered funds.
Because supplement services are provided on a contingency basis, there is no upfront payment to refund. Our fee is earned only when additional funds are recovered through the supplement process. Specific terms are governed by the Supplement Services Agreement executed between Direct Estimating and the client.
Non-refundable once the review is delivered.
Quality control review is a professional opinion on an existing estimate. Because the value is in the analysis and feedback provided, refunds are not available after delivery. If you believe the review was materially deficient, contact us within 48 hours and we will address your concerns.

Please include your name, the service purchased, the date of purchase, and a description of the issue. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account and access to our services while the dispute is investigated.
